The Salming Recoil Lyte 2 are one of the novelties for the 2024 season. From an originally purely volume model, they have become the ideal companion for faster tempo or medium-long volume runs as part of the development of the running market. Thanks to the flexible sole, reasonable level of cushioning and low weight, they perfectly support the natural running style and thus offer a great alternative to highly cushioned models or carbon racing models.

Compared to the previous generation, the Recoil Lyte 2 has a completely redesigned upper, which stands out above all for its flexibility and overall comfort. The overall fit of the model is now more spacious and at the same time it adapts perfectly to your foot from the first time you put it on. Its basis is a breathable and ideally flexible polyester knit, which is covered in key parts with microfiber panels. They have both a protective function and at the same time stabilize the feet in the right direction.

The damping of the new model is again provided by the premium Salming Recoil™ foam, which not only offers great energy return, but also provides adequate stability and, thanks to its rather lower height, does not prevent a good reading of the surface you are running on.

Osvědčenou součástí bot je i jejich flexibilní podrážka. Ta jako obvykle kombinuje části z recyklované pryže, TPU torzní jednotku v její střední části a nekryté části tlumící pěny.

For roads and paved roads
The Lyte 2 model is primarily designed for running on the road or asphalt surfaces, but you won't feel bad in them even on natural paved roads.

For beginners and experienced runners
Like the previous generations, the Lyte 2 is such a versatile model that both the beginner runner and the advanced runner will appreciate it for their features. While it will help the beginner to better understand the specifics of natural running, the experienced runner will appreciate it as a more natural alternative to highly cushioned models or carbon racing shoes. Thanks to the neutral tread and medium-hard cushioning, it is also suitable for runners with a common form of pronation and supination.

Good for longer runs and brisker runs
The Lyte 2 model is a universal variant for several types of running. Thanks to solid cushioning and good foot guidance, you don't have to be afraid to take them both on longer runs, and thanks to the low weight and agile feeling in them, even on faster tempo runs. It will also prove itself great as a racing option for half-marathon distances or on the tartan track as an alternative to thirds and carbon specials.
