Compared to the first generation, the Salming Rival 2 has a completely redesigned upper.

The two-layer upper consists of a combination of durable and breathable polyester knit, which is equipped with a polyurethane layer for increased stability and protection. In addition, the entire upper construction of the shoes is stitched to increase durability and offers an ideal compromise between strength and comfort.

Cushioning is provided by a medium-high midsole made of an EVA foam mixture. This foam mixture has very high-quality damping properties and at the same time is able to return part of the energy to each bounce.

The sole is made of durable non-staining rubber and is equipped with a special Salming HexaGrip™ pattern for maximum grip. The correct functioning of the feet is helped by its distribution using Salming TGS62/75 technology, and to increase stability, it is equipped with a stabilizing reinforcement in the area of the arch.
