UHER IFF floorball rink

The UHER barriers are proven through years. They are made of high quality and extremely rugged polypropylene. This material has proven to be great for use on heavily and very specifically stressed floorball barriers, as well as on ice hockey or ball hockey rinks. They are very light and manipulation is simple and trouble-free even for children.

Constructional design:

Floorball is an amazing and fascinating sport, but it´s also rough. Barriers are usually exposed to very intense shocks and falls, even of several players at a time. Therefore, the individual rink modules must be designed to withstand these extreme conditions without difficulties. Use of improper technology and procedures in the production of barriers causes, sometimes only after years, their deformation or cracking and greatly reduces their functionality and durability. Technological execution of the UHER rinks is at the top professional level. A special technology of fused welds (molecular weld) meets all requirements for professional floorball.

Use of triangular ribs:

The use of triangular ribs contributes to the overall strength of individual segments and ensures a strict 90 degree angle with the playing surface. Without this unique triangular system, the right angle could not be preserved for loger periods of time which would result in annoying bouncing of the ball and the barriers would not meet the IFF standards.

Reinforced welds:

The most stressed parts of the segments are the four "corners". At these places, the greatest pressure is concentrated. Therefore, these areas are massively strengthened. The amount of used welding material is four times higher in these places and thanks to this, there is virtually no possibility of cracking of the barriers.

Marked substitution area:

In the player substitution area, there are handles in contrasting colors (black / white).

Putting the segments together:

Joining of the individual rink segments is intuitive and done using connecting pegs. If player hits the barrier, the whole system feels very compact and safe.

Storage:

The rink comes with 1-2 trolleys (depending on the size of the field) for transport and storing. This trolley allows for safe storage of the rink system and is made from galvanized steel.

This rinks are certified by the International Floorball Federation (IFF) and can be played with at all competitions.
